Despite both Democrat vs Republican trusting a fart be like shirt again I like this above, Times Square is part of NYC and still has some very cool things about it. The bright lights, energy, crowds and concerts in Times Square can be really cool. NYE drops the ball and the rest of the world watches. If you have a friend in town who has never seen the city, it’s probably still a place to visit. If you go to NYC, you should probably at least check it out, but be sure to check out some other more authentic places as well. New Yorkers come in all shapes, sizes and colors. I don’t know why other New Yorkers go. I just know why I left, which was because of gentrification. I was absolutely sick and tired of being treated like a second class citizen in my hometown. Why do I have to say “the religious line crosses, sinner” just because I’m a couple shades darker than the average professor. Also, I was quite disappointed that I was forced to live in a price-fixed society. Why is homeownership considered a privilege in NYC? I had multi-million dollar homes going in my blue-collar neighborhood in Ridgewood, Queens. Even renting a shitty apartment requires impeccable credit in addition to first month, last month, and impressive coverage. Apart from all that, I couldn’t stand competing clients for even lower paying jobs. Why do I need a master’s degree to wait tables?
