That would be an excellent re-use of the Oscar I may be crazy but crazy is far better than stupid shirt besides I will buy this fabric rather than just throwing it in the garbage. If you liked the original item because of the qualities of the fabric, you will like them in the new item. In spite of what someone else wrote about it containing dyes and treatments, don’t worry about that. Any finish treatment added will have long been washed out. The only other thing added will have been a small amount of dye and mordant (to make the dye bind to the cotton). Previous washing will have removed any excess dyes so it will be safe, even for babies. If you want to turn it into high quality rag paper, that’s excellent but you will have to chop it up quite fine before processing it into paper.
